Kit H0 (1:87) tin shed, in mm: length 92, width 72, height 36

The prototype of this shed is on the Coal mine, "Zollern", it is a machine for winding and unwinding of the shaft parts. Ideal can also be used as a backyard workshop or storage sheds on factory premises.

Factory / steel building, kit in H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 305mm, width 164mm, height 145mm

The original building for this factory was located in Krähwinklerbrücke. Carl Urbach produced several high-alloy steels. The model is very delicate and detailed. Assembly is made easy with our tried-and-tested mortise technique. Since the model is to scale, it is possible to realise typical interiors and/or lighting.

Square chimneys used to be very common. Versatile kit for all industrial purposes, ideal addition to Carl Urbach steel works. Ready for a Seuthe smoke generator (not included).

Corrugated iron shack/office

Plain corrugated iron building, as a small office for a scrap dealer or similar small businesses.

Pit bank „Minister Achenbach“-colliery, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 305mm, width 210mm, height 223mm

Replica of the pit bank  I/II of the „Minister Achenbach“-colliery in Lünen. Building started in 1897, finally closed down in 1992. Fits perfectly with winding tower (article no. 17010). The intermediate floor is prepared to accomodate rotary tippler (article no. 40026).

Cooling tower, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 170mm, width 120mm, height 340mm

Cooling towers like this were widely used to cool down water. Water trickles down within the tower, into a collection tank at the bottom. Steel works, colliery, power plant. They all need their cooling tower.

Coal washery, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 375mm, width 140mm, height 320mm

Typical coal washers, elevated to facilitate tracks. Here the coal was washed and sorted before being loaded into coal wagons. Narrow construction, can also be used as background scenery.

Kit includes water tank. Versatile, functional building

Large cooling tower, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 190mm, width 190mm, height 300mm

Elaborate cooling tower in wood etching. The original still exists at „Kokerei Hansa“, and is currently being renovated. See original photo.

Attention: the carton used is vapour oil proof, thus can be used with steam generators without de-coloring or disintegrating the material.

Turning shop Mülheim base kit, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 235mm, width 135mm, height 125mm

The original, part of the local repair works, still exists in Mülheim. It is a listed building and is being extensively refurbished. The base kit consists of the gables walls and outside walls with 6 windows and can be built on its own. Elaborate brick facades, true to the original roof structure, „plaster“-finish on the inside walls, very delicate windows. Can be extended with other kits (articles no.17020/17021/17021).

Turning shop Mülheim length extension, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 225mm, width 135mm, height 125mm

This kit extends the base kit by 6 windows, any desired number of extensions is possible. The original has 18 windows.Can only  be built in connection with article no. 17019!

Coal dispatch, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 230mm, width 172mm, height 200mm

Reconstructed from an old photograph, original location unknown. Coal is delivered and dispatched via a chute and conveyor bridge (article no. 17030ff) into wagons. Kit with many small details, cut-work stairs, etched gusset plates, elaborate skylights, delicate pillars, decorated with „plaster“ inside. Centre-to-centre distance for tracks 74mm, both right and left hand sides fit another track with the same distance.

Ground pit bank, kit H0 (1:87), Dimensions: length 170mm, width 142mm, height 98mm

As article no.17018, not overly large, but constructed to original scale. A ground pit bank, as opposed to „normal“ pit banks, stands on the gound, as the name suggests. Usually coal would not have been sorted or treated any further here; instead it is transported via conveyor belts or cableways.

Small factory building with mansard roof, same construction as 17025, closed roof, can be used to extend 17025 or other industrial purposes.

be laid through the ensemble. 74mm center to center
distance, 75mm vertical clearance. Winch house includes
detailed stair tower with cut steps. Underground bunker for
dispatch. Tracks can be laid underneath dust plant, vertical
clearance 75mm. Other kits can be used to complete steel
works: tube bridges, conveyor bridges, factory buildings

This stair tower provides outdoor access to factories or

Treatment plant to separate liquids from solids. Used in
sewage plants, but also in many other industrial contexts,
like blast furnaces or coal pits.

Very intricate grid windows. Liquid coolants are re-cooled
here, within a closed system. Necessary for almost all large
industrial plants, power stations, blast furnaces, coking
plants. Can be extended with any desied number of coolers.
Contains 2 coolers with safety ladder, and roof railings
