Gasometer based on model photos of the Hansa coking plant, type MAN

A so-called disc gas container, the gas pressure was obtained by a movable sealing disc, which was on the gas. The sealing apron was pressed with tension springs and weights to the outer wall of the container. To seal the apron was covered about one meter high with an oily sealing liquid. For air circulation and pressure equalization, there were ventilation openings at the upper edge of the roof hood. Our kit is also available as a semi-relief Art. 17053.
